Saudi petrochemicals producers said on Saturday they would seek duties on imports from China after Beijing began a dumping probe on petrochemical products from Saudi Arabia and three other countries. Chinese Prime Minister Wen Jiabao ordered local officials Saturday to step up flood control work in south China after over 150,000 people were forced to evacuate following torrential rains. Over 50,000 people were evacuated in south China after the heaviest rains in years led to flooding and swollen rivers in recent days, state media reported. Over 47,000 people were evacuated in Rongshui county of Guangxi region after the Rong river flooded its banks, inundating farmlands and destroying homes, Xinhua news agency said.
